Cup of Coffee
Wakin'
in the morning, facing a new day
Gotta have my coffee, it will start my
day
Gonna drink a cup or two to open up my eyes...
Yes, I'll have my coffee...to bring me
up to size
It gets the
legs a walkin' and gets me a talkin'
Have to have my coffee to
start me on my way
Lookin' at the clock, I don't
realize...
I'm on my fourth cup now...much to my
surprise
Gonna greet my
neighbor now
Time to read the news.
Fifth cup of coffee
now...
What do I have to lose...
Now I'm gettin' ready
to walk out the door
Only one cup left in the pot, think I will just
pour
Another cup of pleasure to start me on my
way
What would I do without it, to start a brand new
day
